The Gibson-Reid Summit - On Education

A recent topic of obsession is fast becoming education. It feels like the most insurmountable endeavor, and yet somehow it goes on in the world, occasionally with success! There is much to despair about with respect to our crushing technocratic sense of capital-E Education, but I maintain a certain reverence for the irrevocable impact a great teacher can have on one’s life. Such a thing has upended my sense of the world (or the sense of my place therein) several times during my life, and it is against that backdrop that I got some of the crew back together from Performancelessness Chapter 2 to seek a path forward.

Special thanks to Quinn Gibson and Laura Reid for the conversation, check out Laura’s latest album “Who Cares: Volume 1” with Jia Jia Li, throw some money their way!
